How to register on the Money app

 

  1. Download the Money app and tap Log in once opened.
  2. Enter your South African ID number or foreign passport number.
  3. Capture your facial biometric image using the in-app camera.
  4. Accept the Approve-it message that we'll send to your cellphone.
  5. Create your Nedbank ID username and password.
  6. Set up your biometric login details (ie Touch ID, Face ID, fingerprint ID).

How to register on Online Banking

 

  1. Go to secured.nedbank.co.za and select Register.
  2. Enter your South African ID number or foreign passport number.
  3. Accept the Approve-it message that we'll send to your cellphone.
  4. Create your Nedbank ID username and password.
  5. Link your profile number, PIN and password (your old internet banking details) to your Nedbank ID.

Access an enhanced banking experience with your Nedbank ID.

A Nedbank ID is a combination of a username and password that gives you access to all Nedbank digital services. You can use it to log in to any online banking, money management or lifestyle service offered by Nedbank.

A Nedbank ID will help you manage all the activity on your accounts from one place. It enables secure login across your Nedbank platforms by linking your profiles to a single sign-on. If you are already using Nedbank digital services, Nedbank ID will soon replace all other login credentials that you may have.

You can sign in to the following digital services with your Nedbank ID:

  • Nedbank Online Banking
  • Nedbank Money app
  • Nedbank Greenbacks app
  • MFC by Nedbank
  • Stockbroking
  • Nedbank Private Wealth
  • Nedbank Business Hub
  • Unlocked.me
  • NedFleet

To update your username or password simply open your Money app or Online Banking page and select ’Forgot details’.

If you suspect that someone has accessed your Nedbank ID, follow these steps:

1. Open your Money app and select 'More' at the bottom of your screen.

2. Go to 'Login and security'.

3. Select 'Nedbank ID' to change your password.

Alternatively, you can log in to your Online Banking and select 'Settings' > 'Profile settings' to update your Nedbank ID.

Unfortunately, to gain access you'll need to visit your nearest Nedbank branch.

You can unlock your Nedbank ID by resetting your password and relinking your banking details using your card and ATM PIN (app only) or profile number, PIN and password (Online Banking).
