I am currently the Divisional Head for Nedbank Agriculture in the Northern Division and lead a team of Agricultural specialists. My team is responsible for the execution of the Agricultural strategy and also support the bank’s effort to acquire viable Agriculture businesses. My passion is Agriculture, people growth and the inclusive growth of the Agricultural Industry in Nedbank.

I have been in agriculture and banking for over 10 years performing various roles such as agricultural advisory services, sales and credit evaluation – all of which helped shape and prepare me for the strategic role as the lead Agriculture Client Value Proposition manager at Nedbank. My passion and vision is to play my part in the realisation for a transformed South African food system in our lifetime – through the development of innovative funding models and partnerships to facilitate an inclusive and sustainable agricultural sector that will contribute positively to our GDP, feed the nation, create jobs and reduce poverty and inequality.

For the past 20 years I have taken on a leadership role and managed a team of agricultural specialists. My role extends far beyond funding and has everything to do with leadership, influence, networks, partnerships, innovation and the ability to foster change. This is critical as we strive for a competitive, vibrant, transformed and sustainable agricultural sector.
