Jason has expertise in accounting, auditing, large corporates, retail and investment banking, other financial services, human resources, marketing, business strategy and strategic planning, corporate governance, stakeholder management and doing business in emerging economies.
Michael Davis
Chief Financial Officer
Appointed: 1 October 2020
Mike has significant industrywide experience in finance, asset and liability management, regulatory, treasury, risk and capital management, and has worked in financial services for over 26 years.
Mfundo Clement Nkuhlu
Chief Operating Officer
Appointed: 1 January 2015
Before joining Nedbank, Mfundo was the executive responsible for strategy, revenue and economic analysis at the South African Revenue Service and chief director of the Department of Trade and Industry.
Our board
The Nedbank board strives to optimise value for all stakeholders by fulfilling our purpose of using our financial expertise to do good; executing our strategy to enhance our competitiveness and differentiation; ensuring the sustainability of our business model; monitoring the external environment and assessing key risks, as well as the availability and quality of the group’s capitals; and understanding the needs of all relevant stakeholders.

Our Group Exco comprise 3 executive directors, a Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, 4 frontline business Managing Executives (CIB, RBB, Nedbank Wealth and NAR) and 6 shared services executives, covering risk, compliance, technology, human resources, strategy and sustainability, and market and corporate affairs.
